Any ideas for generating business for water purification franchise? The business is new and getting off to a slow start. We could use any ideas to spread the word about the company, which sells water coolers, softeners, reverse osmosis, ect. Also any ideas on who to talk to to attain commercial accounts/accounts with new home builders?Specific advice for this line of business would be great, but any good ideas for generating business in general would be much appreciated!

Rather that re-invent the wheel from scratch yourself, why not check out what other successful people in your line of business are doing? I would guess there is some sort of business association for what you are involved in. Google it or ask your for the business librarian at your local library to help you look for such an association. Read their info, call members in other locations, and learn what works.

Try focused advertising. One example: become a sponspored web site on search engines like yahoo or google. Whenever someone punches in certain key words (quantity depending on how much you pay) your website will be at the top of the list as a sponsored web site.

My father bought a water purification system from a door to door salesman. Come to think of it, he also bought two Kirby vacuums ten years apart from door to door salesman.

    Water purification… mmm

Well off the hat, try to target the health conscious. New mom’s worried about the purity of their tap water and giving it to their kids. Hospitals? Or health shops and health food stores. Gyms are also a good place to find the health conscious.

You could you to them and show them your product and why it is different from all the other stuff out there or…
